I admit it. I didn’t watch Band of Brothers until late 2024.

I had been told that it was incredible for God knows how long. Just never got around to it.

Well… I’m ashamed.

It was indeed amazing.

Therefore, a reading of such a wonderful show was in order. Richard Winters was a great character in the hit series, and a recommendation led me to his retelling of what happened.

The show was surprisingly accurate.

The book was solid, and I have already passed on wisdom to my kids that I picked up from the real life war hero.

While we’re on the topic and just for kicks, I’ll say that I was so enamored with Band of Brothers that I immediately began The Pacific.

It wasn’t the same. Missed the mark. I was disappointed.
