The author of this poem entered a contest given only the accompanying picture, “Never Let Me Go” by Jeni Follman.
I always read these once before I look at the picture. Then, I read again.
After my first run through for this one, it was very good, but I thought there was no way she pulled it from the picture.
But… after seeing it, I am even more impressed. As a matter of fact, this is by far the best fusion of picture/poem in the book.
