This poem was written in a form that its author invented. A “demi-sonnet.” These inventions… I’m irked by the word. It’s just poetry. Thousands of people have written this before. It’s bothering me worse than poems that don’t rhyme. Invention or no, this poem is deserving of recognition. Well done. I’m jealous.
