50% of my children listened to me read it out loud. Of that 50%, 50% paid attention. The other half just wants to watch the movie.

I will read it again when the other two are old enough to listen.

I love these books. It’s probably my favorite story that exists, and I would urge all parents to introduce it to their younglings.

But… it’s fine if you don’t. You’re grown. Make your own decisions.
