I’m not sure that such a described place exists anymore.

If so, it is well in the eye of the government.

Which reminds me… if you do not take part in the decennial U.S. census, you could be fined.

I know, it hasn’t happened over fifty years, but it’s still a law, and the fact that it is still bothers me.

But what irks me even more is… how do they know?

If I have to partake in a census, and if I don’t I could be fined, who is it that knows I exist and haven’t participated in?

And if they already know, why do I have to do anything?
