As much as I like this and stories like these, I don’t call this poetry.
I call them stories.
That’s why I like them. I like stories more than I like anything. I think I’ve shared that before.
My problem with this is I also like poetry, and that’s not what this is.
It’s happening a lot in these two “poetry” books. You’ve had enough of my whining about rhyming.
I can actually accept a non-rhythmical flow, but if it’s a story… it’s a story.
A great story. An emotional one. Deeply felt. A story nonetheless.
